Camp Program Manager

Located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Cenet is a non-profit organization dedicated to international education and cultural exchange. Cenet is designated by the United States Department of State as a BridgeUSA Program Sponsor and administers the Intern, Trainee, Camp Counselor, Summer Work Travel, Research Scholar, Short-Term Scholar, Specialist and Teacher programs for non-U.S. participants. Cenet also operates the Magellan Exchange, a consortium of universities worldwide which offers student and faculty academic exchanges.

The Role: Camp Program Manager

In your full-time role as our BridgeUSA Camp Counselor Program Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, including processing applications, managing detailed programmatic tasks, building relationships, and communicating with camps, exchange visitors and other stakeholders.

The Program Manager reports to the Camp Program Director

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage programmatic operations
  • Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Manage and foster relationships with camps and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and grow placements with collaborating camps
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, expecially Excel
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with BridgeUSA Programs (2 years or more preferred)
  • A passion for international exchange programs, summer camps, and the Cenet mission
  • Associate degree or some college is preferred
  • At least 3 years of previous work experience required

Salary/Benefits

Pay is commensurate with background and experience. Healthcare coverage is provided.

 

Location

Cenet has offices in both Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Portland, Maine. Remote work is an option. Regular in-person meetings and travel are required.
